De Beers Industrial Diamond Divisional (Ireland), GE Capital, Lufthansa, UPS.
Existing Centre
The existing centre was built in the early 1970�s and extends to approximately 4,400 sq.m. including a
Tesco supermarket and shopping and service facilities. The headquarters of development agency, Shannon Development is located in
the town centre. Existing traders include Tesco Ireland, Lidl, RX Pharmacy, Supermac�s,
AIB, Xtravision, Ulster Bank and Bank of Ireland.
Skycourt Shannon Town
The redevelopment of Shannon Town Centre into
Skycourt Shannon Town has already begun. The first phase includes a major new Dunnes Stores outlet, approximately 8,500 sq.m. of
new unit shopping and a multi-storey car park. A new Town Square is to be developed which will provide a
focal point and meeting place for shoppers, visitors and the local community.
Further phases of development are planned to complement the retail offer and to bring further leisure, cultural and service users to the
town.
